Asbestos OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE
This two-day training course for Class III asbestos work educates workers involved in general maintenance where asbestos-containing materials (ACM) or presumed asbestos containing material (PACM) is likely to be disturbed. This course follows EPA's Model Curriculum for asbestos operations and maintenance training.
Topics include: Identifying asbestos, developing an O&M program, health effects, personal protective equipment, control methods and work practices, maintenance related removal, and regulations. This course includes hands-on exercises and demonstrations.
Who Should Attend:
Anyone whose work may require them to disturb minor quantities of asbestos containing materials (ACM) or presumed asbestos containing material. This includes, but is not limited to, maintenance and custodial personnel, building trades personnel, plumbers, electricians, remodeling contractors and construction personnel
