This two-day training course trains lead inspectors to conduct an on-site investigation for lead-based hazards and perform risk assessment services. This course follows the EPA Model Accreditation Curriculum. 

Topics include: Role and responsibilities of a risk assessor, collection of background information to perform a risk assessment, sources of environmental lead contamination, Visual inspection , Lead hazard screen protocol, Sampling Interpretation , federal, state and local regulations and guidance, development of hazard control options, interim controls, and
preparation of a final risk assessment report
