Silica Awareness Training

The employer shall have each employee trained in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the regulations applicable to his work environment to control or eliminate any hazards or other exposure to illness or injury.

Exposures to crystalline silica are addressed in specific standards for the general industry, shipyard employment, and the construction industry.
